Venus on Wheels describes DeVries life, and DeVries experiences due to her disabilities. The book also includes how Frank and DeVries met in college and have been friends for the past twenty years and much more. Venus on Wheels sees the cultural and social views in America of people with disabilities and shows how people with lives similar to DeVries have overcome them with the help of friends and family. Venus on Wheels is a great read for anyone who is interested in the subject, just curious or who are living a life like DeVries.
